International Translation Day Celebration in Stockholm

The International Translation Day was celebrated in Stockholm by the Federation of Authorised Translators in Sweden, the Swedish Association of Professional Translators and the Institute for Interpreting and Translation Studies at Stockholm University, and many other people with an interest in languages.

We met at Teater Barbara and listened to the sociolinguist Helena Bani Shoraka from Stockholm University, who told us about the latest research in multilingualism. After that, we had dinner together at Lemon Bar.
